The Text length property at the field level signifies the maximum length of the text in the field.This property is usually ignored and the text to enter in a control is retrieved from the underlying column definition. Text Length is not ignored if a Text field has a user property named Text Length Override. Pls let me know if this clarifies. Thanks Sachin
